Lily Donaldson & Sasha Pivovarova by Mario Sorrenti for Kenzo Fall 2010In the land of beauty canyons, and under the sky of clean and blue, comes the Kenzo Fall 2010 Campaign. The background setting is gorgeous from the first place, and with Lily Donaldson & Sasha Pivovarova in front of Mario Sorrenti’s lens, this is really more than just an ad campaign, much more gorgeous than that.

Lensed by Mario Sorrenti, Lily Donaldson and Sasha Pivovarova take to the canyons for the fall campaign from Kenzo. Donning the label’s signature prints and layers, the blonde duo impresses with their smoldering gazes.

Love the prints, and love the styling, most of all, love the gorgeous blonde duo! So great!

Want Some Colors?

Daria Werbowy & Lily Donaldson by Mario TestinoWant some colors? Life should be colorful! Travel is one of the  most enjoyable things in our life, and the best season for that, spring, yes, that’s one of the many reasons why we always love spring the most. I guess everyone has a dream about travelling far away to a mysterious place, that’s exciting and wonderful!

So as we said before, fashion gives you visions about your dream. Daria Werbowy & Lily Donaldson photographed by Mario Testino shows how your dream trip should be like!

In front the lens of Mario Testino, the two beauty plays two backpack travelers. Styled in colorful exotic ensembles, they shine in beautiful mysterious lands, which makes you really want to grab a bag and just walk out of the door.

The whole photo shoot is stunning, and I really really love the styling, you just can’t expect for any more colorful. And the exotic backgrounds are so clean and beautiful, and they seem so happy and so spring! That’s exactly the dream trip we always dream of!

Lily Donaldson, The Spring Fairy

Written on April 5th, 2010 by sceneryno shouts

Lily Donaldson by Carter SmithWe all know spring’s here, and I think I just found a really classic spring spread for you, Lily Donaldson photographed by Carter Smith. This is actually quite a old photo and still makes good spring sense, which is really precious in the fashion world. Originally published in Vogue UK (February 2005), the photoshoot is totally fabulous and still shines today.

Well, before we start about the photo, let’s check out this girl first. Born in London, England, on 27 JAN, 1988, Lily Donaldson was scouted by Select Modeling Agency while shopping in Camden Town, London in 2003 at a quite young age. And then just the next year, she becomes the face of Miss Sixty, then Mario Testino photographs her for Burberry, alongside Stella Tennant and Karen Elson, the same year. And then the most important event in her career comes in Feb 2004, she debuts at the fall Jil Sander and Rochas shows in Milan and Paris, this is an official start of her modeling life on stage. Ever after, she was like always on stage, and of course, editorials, covers and ad campaigns…

Back to the photo, I love the big flowers, and these floral outfits on her, they are really spring like, and the huge green necklace there is just gorgeous. And the girl, I’m totally in love, she’s just so beautiful, so white like a spring fairy, and the sunglass looks fabulous on her face. Love the photo.

Alexander Mcqueen, Ultimate Glamor

Written on February 21st, 2010 by sceneryno shouts

Alexander McqueenFashion photos are always gorgeous and enjoyable, you know, the faces are elegant, and the dresses are exquisite, and in this case, the photo looks very clean and clear.

Usually, I like to have beautiful backgrounds, but for this one I had to agree that it looks better in this way. The blurred background, the light-colored hair, makes a really good match, and it all looks so clean that we have to believe that is a real good day, nice weather! These are truly fancy dresses, I love the color match, and these decors, very glamorous! And I had to say, these golden jewels looks just fine here(I’m not really fond of golden jewels), very upscaled and gorgeous! And one last thing, the two models here look a little pale, but somehow so innocent, I really love that!

Well, this is one of my favorite photos from Alexander McQueen, and since Mcqueen is now gone, this really is the ultimate glamor! May he rest in peace…
