Haute Couture Paris
When set my eyes on the photoshoot of The Grand Couture, starring Kristen McMenamy taken by Paolo Roversi for Vogue Italia September 2010, I was totally shocked, it is just like in heaven! I love these fabulous outfits, and the whole style, the ways all these gorgeous things were put together, is absolutely amazing! See it for yourself!
Kristen McMenamy plays a couture goddess for the October Haute Couture supplement from Vogue Italia. Lensed by Paolo Roversi in early twentieth century style photos, Kristen dons array of clothing from couture’s best ateliers including Valentino, Chanel and Armani Privé in The Grand Couture. With each look curated by Edward Enninful, Kristen is the perfect balance between playful minx and elegant lady in the hauntingly beautiful spread.
This is what we call stunning, I love the luxurious airy feeling, it is just like in heaven, everything’s so fancy and beauty fills in every little corner.
Enchantment
Usually I don’t love those photoshoped photos, for I believe that good photos are too pretty to be photoshoped, but now I would have to say that photoshop do can make photos look more beautiful sometimes. It gives the photos a totally different feel, brand new and attempting. Check out the photos that Kristine Drinke took for Tank Fall 2010 by Ellen Rogers.
Ellen Rogers brings a sense of enchantment to the autumn edition of Tank Magazine with The Name of the Rose. Starring Kristine Drinke, Rogers captures the girlish wonder of fairy tales and nature with the aide of fashion editor Pandora Lennard.
Now you know what I’m talking about, the color palette of this photoshoot is totally awesome, reveal a sense of beautiful nostalgia, and the outfits appear to be totally gorgeous! Love it!
Darkness and Seductive
I’m not sure why, but the fashion world seems to always love seductive editorials. See, this new photoshoot of Diana Dondoe taken by Sylvie Malfray for Elle Romania September 2010 is a good example, to some extent the photoshoot do explains something about seduce in fashion, the photos look just gorgeous, and the outfits appeals strongly!
Bringing a sense of mystery to Elle Romania’s September issue, photographer Sylvie Malfray captures cover girl Diana Dondoe wearing Chanel’s Paris Shanghai collection. With the perfect balance of darkness and seduction, Diana dons the elegant stylings of Domnica Margescu for one tantalizing spread.
Diana is really gorgeous, elegant face and intense eyes, she appears just cool and seductive in the leather ensemble. What’s more, the Chanel Paris Shanghai collection is totally cool but with a sense of feminine, love it!
Seems Colorful with Santa Lolla Spring 2011
Photos with clear edges and explicit colors appeals the most to my eyes. Although I do love ethereal editorials and other artfully effected fashion photos, I find myself most intend to actually buy the apparels that have been shot in clear shades and with positive attitudes.
I don’t know if you share the same experience, but personally I do think that if the purpose of a photoshoot is to sell the products, say, ad campaigns, then the clear positive color and shape would do the job more effectively! For instance, the Sasha Pivovarova photoshoot for Santa Lolla Spring 2011 Campaign shot by Henrique Gendre really made me mouth watering for the colorful bags.
Sasha Pivovarova gets expressive for the spring 2011 campaign from Santa Lolla. Lensed by Henrique Gendre, the Russian beauty sports the Brazilian label’s platform heels and colorful bags. It almost makes us wish summer would never end!
I totally love the styling here, simple but chic. That means although the styling is very gorgeous, it remains possible for everyone of us to imitate the chic feeling, and that’s the greatest thing about fashion ad campaigns, and also, this will really sell those amazing outfits in the photoshoot. That makes everyone happy, right?
Valley of The Dolls
Hey, you guys, it has been a while since the last time we gossiped together. I’m sorry for such a delay of this post, so here’re some cute pretty dolls for you, they’ll make you happy and forget and long boring waiting time (hopefully).
So look! The Valley of the Dolls shot by Simon Upton for Harper’s Bazaar Singapore September 2010.
Harper’s Bazaar Singapore goes on a fashionable (and colorful) trip to Wolgan Valley, Australia, for its September issue lensed by Simon Upton. Starring Dempsey Stewart, Natalie Keyser and Ruby-Jean Wilson, Valley of the Dolls takes a look at the fall collections with the girls donning colorful wigs courtesy of hair stylist Michael Brennan. Styled by Kenneth Goh, the trio wears the biggest names in fashion including Lanvin, Issey Miyake and Yves Saint Laurent for the dynamic thirty-two page spread.
I love the beautiful colorful wigs here, they look so cute and happy with the whole styling, exactly what I’ve expected for dolls! How do you like it?
